OBHC 2026 Pre Conference
The SHOC Early Career Researcher team and Professor Catherine Pope (University of Oxford) will host their usual interactive face to face pre-conference programme for early career researchers and post graduates attending the Conference, on Tuesday 7 April 2026 between 10:00-1700 in the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences – located in the Radcliffe Observatory Quarter, a short walk from the station and Said Business school.
We will have up to 30 places and the event is free to early career researchers and post graduates attending the Conference.
The pre-conference is devoted to skill and knowledge development for postgraduates and early career researchers, especially those attending OBHC for the first time. It will feature the ever-popular research speed-dating session, and advice and tips from senior academics.
Vegetarian lunch is provided and at 17:00 there will be a welcome drinks reception.
Details about how to register for the preconference will be made available through the conference registration system in due course – in the meantime get writing those paper submissions !
